Peter Peren, co-author of The Writers Legal Companion, is a Publishing Consultant and Literary Agent. Formerly Vice-President, Publishing at Palace Press International, Publisher of Sierra Club Books and Publisher of VIA Books, a division of the California State Automobile Association, he currently consults with both authors and independent publishers. Recent consulting clients include NOLO, Island Heritage and the Healthy Travel Company. He is also the author of California the Beautiful, Vintage San Francisco, Hidden Napa Valley, Yosemite and the Eastern Sierra and Moving into Space. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife, Susan McConnell, a publishing professional.
