Michael J. Vaughn is the award-winning author of nine novels: two self-published, one subsidy-published, five published by others, and one British ebook. He is a regular contributor to Writer's Digest, where he writes on fiction, poetry and the creative process, and has worked for 25 years as a performing arts journalist specialiazing in opera. Vaughn's poetry has appeared in more than fifty literary journals, on- and offline, and he served as fiction editor for the acclaimed literary journal The Montserrat Review. Vaughn lives in San Jose, CA.
